10. Lungwort

Edible 10

The leaves of lungwort are edible and can be cooked or added raw to your salads. However, lungwort really shines as a medicinal additive to tea. People have been using lungwort tea for centuries to treat everything from urinary tract issues to stomach ailments. Some people apply lungwort to their skin to help heal wounds.

Now that you have a better idea of what plants can be beneficial this spring, it’s time to get out there and start picking them! Remember to pay close attention to identification methods to ensure that you select the right plants. Also, keep in mind that the medicinal properties of these plants are not guaranteed to work for any specific condition, so it is still important to keep taking your prescription medication.
