6. Daffodils

Toxic 1

Many people eat flowers or use them in homemade tea, but this is not always a wise idea. Daffodils, which are also known as Narcissus, are occasionally mistaken for onions. Sadly, anyone who eats enough daffodil bulbs will experience cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. This flower isn’t likely to kill you, but it could certainly make you miserable for an extended period of time.

Other flowers that you should avoid include wisteria, chrysanthemum, rhododendron, lily-of-the-valley and foxglove. Basically, if you are not certain that a flower is edible, it is best to steer clear of it altogether.
