6. Cook Up a Storm
Dishes that require boiling, or at least heating large volumes of water, release heat and humidity into the air.
If you’re lucky enough to have a gas stove, this is the perfect time to do some intense cooking and/ or baking.
Stews and soups are great, because they release warm water vapor into the air. Plus, you’ll be creating a hot meal for your family.
7. Eat well
Eating can elevate your body temperature and make you feel warmer.
If you can, heat up some warm drinks, like hot tea or coffee. Hot chocolate will go over well with the kids. If you imbibe, alcohol in moderation will help keep the adults feel-ing warm inside.
