4. Trap Fruit Flies

Everyone hates having flies buzzing around their face as you try and concentrate. Fruit flies are generally thought of as a non-harmful annoyance, but the reality is that they do pose some health risks for humans. Because fruit flies are attracted to garbage and rotting food, they collect bacteria on their feet. Next, they land on stuff all over your house, and this can spread diseases.

To get rid of these nuisances, simply pour vinegar into a small dish and add a few drops of dish soap on top.

Then place plastic wrap tightly over the concoction, poking a few holes in the top to allow the flies to get inside. Leave this mixture on a counter or cabinet for a few days, and you’ll notice flies accumulating in your trap.
