3. Pick a Lock with a Safety Pin
In a pinch, you can flatten out two safety pins and use them to pick a lock. This could help you get out of a sticky situation or find much-needed supplies from an area that has been abandoned. Again, this is a good reason to keep a couple of safety pins concealed in your clothing.
