This footage was captured by hikers enjoying the peaceful walking the trails at Circle B Ranch in Lakeland, Florida, when this monster decided to migrate right across the path in front of them. “Humpback,” as the locals know him is often seen wandering around the nature preserve he calls home.
Estimates have the gator’s length at 15 feet, but that hardly puts his dinosaur-like size in perspective. Image being one of the hikers that spotted this guy looking for some new real estate.
Creepy and prehistoric are two words that seem to fit rather well when it comes to the Humpback. Like many animals at the top of the weight class for their species, he seems to move rather slow. But we wonder how quickly he could move if he saw a nice juicy hiker he wanted.
