6. Field Mustard
Field mustard is one of the most common wild plants in the world, so you most likely have some growing nearby.
The leaves have a flavor that resembles cabbage, and this has earned them a place in many salads.
However, please be aware that field mustard leaves are much coarser than cabbage, and some people have a difficult time digesting them.
The roots of this plant can be grated raw to add a radish flavor to salads, and you can also cook them. Field mustard seeds provide a nice, healthy blend of vitamins, phyto-nutrients, antioxidants and minerals.
