8. To Keep Your Battery Terminals Clean
If your battery terminals become corroded, your car may not start during an emergency.
Therefore, if you notice any corrosion, you can clean it up with a paste that contains one part water and three parts baking soda.
Disconnect the battery before you use a damp cloth and this mixture to scrub away the issue.
You can also wipe the reconnected terminals with petroleum jelly to help avoid future issues.
