7. Get Your Weapons into Good Hiding Spots

No matter how well-fortified your home is, it’s still possible that someone could break in. This means that you need to be prepared by having a few weapons stashed in various secret locations throughout the house.

We’ve previously provided numerous tips for safe and inventive hiding spots, and we heavily encourage you to use them.

If you’re new to the Patriot Caller, here’s a brief recap of good hiding spots: Fake electrical outlets, closet door frame, a hallowed out book, inside an air conditioning vent, underneath false flooring, in a modified cabinet or bookshelf, behind a photo frame, inside a large decorative piece of pottery, in a drawer with a fake bottom and underneath your couch or recliner.

Of course, you need to choose a spot that you can get to easily that will also keep your weapon away from children.
