2. Food and Water

Non-perishable food items such as granola bars and trail mix can help you keep your strength up, and they may even save your life if the SHTF while you’re driving and you need to bug out quickly.

Water is also imperative, but keep in mind that it can easily freeze during the winter.

Due to this, you may want to keep a gallon of water by the front door of your house that you can carry in and out of your car daily.

If you typically have a passenger, be sure that you have enough supplies for everyone to eat and drink for at least a couple of days.
