5. Steel Wool
One small piece of a steel wool and a 9 Volt battery can start a fire. You will not need a lighter or matches to make this work.
Instead, simply place the head of the battery against the steel wool and rub it around for a few seconds until a fire is started.
Next, blow on the small spark to help it grow into a roaring fire. This works so well that it is vital not to put the steel wool and 9 Volt battery near each other in your bag.
