9. Thirsty? Use a Plastic Bag

Plastic bags may be horrible for the environment, but keeping one in your bugout bag could end up saving you from dying of thirst. Wrap one of these bags around several plant leaves and allow it to stay there for a few hours. The bag will cause condensation, especially if it’s in direct sunlight, which will lead to moisture collecting in the bottom of the bag. It’s best to filter and boil this, and make sure that you do not select a poisonous plant.
