4. Smother Aphids with Canola Oil and Soap
Tiny aphids, mites and mealybugs can be disastrous for your garden, but you do not need to allow these pests to take over.
Instead, take a quart of water and mix three or four drops of ivory soap with a tablespoon of canola oil. Once this mixture is complete, shake it very well and transfer it to a spray bottle.
You will want to cover your plants by spraying up from the bottom and down from the top. The end result is that this natural spray will smother the miniature pests, leaving your garden free of their insidious ways.
