7. Kitty Litter for Traction
Even if you don’t have a cat, it’s a good idea to invest in some kitty litter. This is because you can use it to create traction on a snowy or muddy day. Keep in mind that not every emergency will start with you stuck alone deep in the woods. You could spin out during a snow storm or even finally make your way back to your vehicle after several days lost in the woods, only to find that you can’t move it. Merely put some kitty litter under, behind and in front of each tire to create enough traction to drive out of a bad situation.
