9. Stockpile Fuel
Fuel can make a big difference in your life after a natural disaster, and it will become increasingly more difficult to find with each passing day. By stockpiling fuel now, you can keep your car filled up for emergency runs. As an added bonus, fuel can get your generator running when you reach the peak of boredom and would give anything to watch just two minutes of your favorite movie on DVD. Keep in mind that you need to start your car regularly or else all the gas in the world will not help you after the battery dies. This is the main reason that “The Walking Dead” group has to give up on the majority of the vehicles that they find.
