10. Physical Fitness is Key


There is a very good reason that almost all of the survivors on “The Walking Dead” appear to be trim and in decent physical shape: health issues and the inability to walk or run for an extended period of time can literally kill people during the zombie apocalypse. You may not end up needing to run from a horde of zombies, but you will need to exercise regularly to keep yourself prepared for the mental and physical arduous tasks that accompany a disaster.
