The patients teeth should be flossed, and their mouth rinsed with antibacterial solution. The area around the problematic tooth should be kept as dry as possible before and during the procedure.
It’s only fitting that we’d impress upon you the importance of being completely, overly, ridiculously prepared for the procedure — both mentally and materially.
In case of bleeding, have gauze or cotton balls at-the-ready. If you’re squeamish at the sight of blood… well, maybe you need to find another DIY Dentist at this point (or someone to catch you in case you faint).
