Raised Bed Wicking Garden
A raised bed wicking garden can be placed anywhere in your yard. The wicking garden in this example is 4’ by 6’, but you can expand the size by increasing your materials accordingly.
Materials Needed:
1. Untreated Wood for Raised Bed Walls (Alternatively, you can use a box that has already been built): Two 2x6x10, Two 2x10x10 and Two 1x4x8 for the corners (this last piece is optional).
2. Galvanized Screws.
3. 1” PVC to be used for cover supports and the fill pipe.
4. Poly Liner.
5. Weed Barrier.
6. 4” Corrugated Drainage Pipe.
7. Two End Caps for the Drainage Pipe.
8. Organic Garden Soil.
9. Drainage Rock.
