Step Two: Make Your Wick
Take 100 percent cotton string and cut off a decent length. Tie one end of the string around a nut, and then drop it into the jar. You will want to loop the other end around a skewer three times to help properly set the wick. After this step has been completed, stick the entire jar, along with the skewer placed on top, into your freezer for 30 minutes. Alternatively, you could put the jar outside during a cold winter day.
