heater1Instructions: 1. Build Your Frame

Your frame should be built to be 20”wide by 15” long. In the end, it should look like a large picture frame, more or less.

You can get as detailed as your woodworking skills allow, though the design doesn’t require anything intricate. No dove tailed joints required.

The back of the frame should be reinforced with a ½” thick panel of plywood.


 

2. Create Soda Can Holders from Wood

The previous photo shows a wooden holder that has holes drilled into it that correspond to the size of the bottom of your soda cans.

You will also need to do the same thing for the top of your cans.heater3

These pieces of wood will be put in place inside the solar heater to keep your cans in place.
