The cans and interior stacking wood can and should be sprayed outside of the case. The black will improve the heat gathering potential of your system, plus this will give your heater a more finished look. If you do choose to place this in your living room, well, you’ll probably want it to look somewhat nice.

After this has been completed, you can put everything in place.


 

5. Add Support Pieces, Glass and Aluminum Flashing

heater6The finishing touches for the case will be added on in this step.

You can also add handles to the top of the case if you would like for easier transportation. For the best results, your soda can heater will need to be angled, and this can be accomplished with a TV stand and a support brace.
