Crazy Blue Snake Eats Diamondback!

The Texas Indigo Snake is a good guy to have around. This non-venomous snake spends most of its time hiding and is an opportunistic eater, regularly dining on rattlesnakes. In fact, ranchers have a saying in South Texas, “If it’s indigo, let it go.”

Texas Indigo Snakes are surprisingly colored and surprisingly large. Adults commonly reach lengths of 6-8 feet.
