Separating Cream from Milk the Easy Way

There’s so many delicious things that come from fresh cream such as butter, sour cream, and sweet whipped topping. Additionally, you haven’t lived until you’ve enjoyed fresh homemade cream in your coffee–the aroma and taste are out of this world! However, those of us that are used to getting our homogenized milk from the refrigerator will be surprised to know that raw milk from pastured cows has a cream line that settles to the top. You’ll have to skim off this cream from raw milk in order to use it. How do that? Well, some people pour it off, but sometimes that still leaves a lot of milk in the cream. Additionally, it’s kind of hard to do it without making a mess.
