DIY Butter: the Power-Free Method

Butter was made before modern electricity was invented so it’s entirely possible to make some yummy butter when there is no way to power your kitchen appliances. In fact, if you have a cow or goat and just a few items from your kitchen, you won’t need it for butter preparation at all, except in the case that you want to refrigerate it.

Things You’ll Need:

Antique_Mason_jars

1. Large bowl

2. A fork.

3. A spatula

4. Two Jars.

5. Some heavy cream from cows, goats or food storage area with a temperature around 60˚F. A pint of cream equates to about a cup of butter.
