If your home is not safe and you cannot reach your cabin, you might be able to set up a suitable shelter in a national park or forest, or state parkland.

You will need camping gear and cookware to increase your odds of survival, so make sure that you include these components in your bug out supplies. In cold conditions, it’s critical that you build a worthy shelter.
