We all know that you can apply a painful splash of rubbing alcohol to a recent cut or scape to disinfect the wound and prevent future infections.

It should NOT be used for deep wounds or wounds inside the mouth, however.

Rubbing alcohol is a good anti fungal for your feet. Hikers or survivalists walking long hours in heavy boots often develop athletes foot or other fungal infections.

Applying a nightly alcohol wash can help to dry out and prevent any of those nasty fungi from taking hold.
