Much like the stun baton, these electroshock weapons are highly effective on most assailants.
The downside of many models is, of course, effective range they offer. Some of them fire up to 15 feet. Other less expensive models must actually make contact to be effective.
The legal framework surrounding tasers is essentially the same as that which governs stun batons. That is to say that they’re legal to carry in the vast majority of states.
