When you think of winterizing your home, you may not consider the importance of checking your plumbing pipes for leaks.
Keep in mind that not only can air enter your home in a wide variety of ways but it’s also critical to prevent leaks. Get your house ready for the winter by inspecting all of the accessible plumbing pipes.
If you see any leaks, tighten the pipes and, if necessary, repair them with plumber’s tape. This will help protect your pipes and your wallet from issues later on during the winter.
