What Does Poison Oak Look Like? ivy3

The poison oak plant has a lot in common with poison ivy. For example, they both have three leaves per cluster, and they can also change colors throughout the year. If you encounter poison oak, it could be green, greenish-red, red, yellow or orange-red.

Unlike the poison ivy and poison sumac leaves that come to a point at the end, poison oak has a rounded tip. This plant is located along the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, and it is most commonly found in California, Oregon and Washington.

The berries that are produced by this plant are tan or white colored. Poison oak can be found as a climbing vine or a shrub, and the scalloped edges of each leaf resemble the leaves that are found on an oak tree.
