4. Slice and Eat
Once you’ve smoked, roasted or whatever you’ve chosen for the final step in your bacon making quest, it’s time to slice your pork belly.
You’ll want to cut your bacon against or across the grain. If you’re having some doubts about whether you’re slicing it properly, inspect your slices.
If it looks like bacon, good. If it looks like s long strip of fat or lean, then rotate your pork belly 90 degrees and try again.
