The Purification Process – Step One: Gather Your Supplies
It is important to take your safety seriously. Therefore, we recommend wearing rubber gloves and safety glasses whenever you are working with chemicals. You will also need the necessary supplies to create a purifying mixture. Here is your full supply list:
1. Safety glasses.
2. Rubber gloves.
3. A thick container such as an old bleach bottle that has been thoroughly cleaned.
4. Exactly one gallon of water.
5. Calcium hypochlorite.
6. A measuring spoon.
7. A clean gallon-sized container.
8. Filter funnel.
